I love this thought

"Having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away." - a quote by Dinah Craik  I needed some comforting words today.

Today has been quite odd actually. On our way to school my baby threw up and it was within 5 minutes of getting to our destination. I was sad he was not feeling well- but more likely than not he got car sick like his mommy does sometimes. It happens when we drive about an hour to school. This morning I was afraid even before we left that he might be sick. He was dry heaving and coughing the kind that usually precedes vomiting. I almost left him home with his dad for the hour I was to be in class; but felt since he didn't throw up he'd be okay. Not so. Note to self; I need to always have an extra pair of clothes with me for my son just in case this or some other accident happens while we're on the road. I wasn't fond of cleaning up the mess, but glad to get him home and rest so he could get better.

My son jumped up and down on his bed for about 15 minutes before falling asleep for nap at about 1 pm.
We- yes my son and I,both had a 4 hour long nap! Really excessive. I didn't sleep last night and he wasn't feeling well so I dismissed it as an eccentric and unusual happening. For the remainder of the day he was acting normal had no fever and doing well. I made him Mac and Cheese for dinner and he kept the food down no problem acting like his jovial self. At this point I was almost sure he was car sick earlier. By now he was acting as happy as this kid below!

I decided to take him to the movie, "Mars Needs Moms" today which he enjoyed. I thought it was a bit scary for him in the beginning but he seemed to handle it very well. It turned out cute at the end and he loved to dance to the song at the end of the credits. There were only us 2 and 3 other people watching the show at 6:30 pm on a Thursday night. It was pretty cool having the whole theater to ourselves.

It's nearly 11 pm and my 2 year old finally went to sleep at 10:30 pm. Guess this is why 4 hour naps aren't good for toddlers.

I'm looking forward to a wonderful General Conference this weekend from the Leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I may even buy the Conference coloring kit they sell at Deseret Book for my lil one, not sure how long he'll last with it though.

Love you all, Goodnight! Chels
